Numana Consulting
Two decades of engineering, quality and operations leadership, focused on getting complex projects to the finish line. We start from how your business actually runs, then build systems that work in your reality — not slide decks.
Experience across organizations including
Data-driven and operations-centric, with one measure of success: systems that work, and projects that reach the finish line.
We learn how your operation actually runs — the data, the constraints, the real need and context — before proposing anything. No off-the-shelf answers.
A feasible, context-appropriate solution that draws on strategic, technical and operational experience together — built to be effective in your environment.
We build working systems and drive the project to completion. You're left with capability that keeps running — not a report on a shelf.
It's why clients come back: the relationships are long-term, because systems that fit keep paying off long after the engagement ends.
Practical, in-the-weeds work that connects strategy to the shop floor and the books.
Strategic planning and business-capability modeling that turn goals and constraints into executable roadmaps.
Throughput, quality and cost gains through Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen, grounded in how the work really flows.
QA/QC, ASME and ISO programs — shifting from reactive inspection to process control that prevents defects.
Structures, roles and controls a growing team can follow, aligning functions around how projects are actually executed.
Workforce development and hands-on technical training for industrial and manufacturing operations.
End-to-end delivery of complex industrial projects — from proposal and engineering to fabrication and quality.
A few outcomes from the work.
Nicolas works from a deliberately broad vantage point — one shaped by engineering, science and economics, and by two decades of work across Argentina, Canada and the Bahamas. That range, anchored by a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering, is what lets him read an operation from more than one angle. He has built and led engineering, quality, operations and communications teams across Oil & Gas, heavy manufacturing, shipbuilding and higher education — running ASME and ISO programs and delivering operational turnarounds. His leadership reaches beyond industry, too: he has chaired the 10,000-member Graduate Student Society at UBC — a CAD-1M organization with a team of 25 — and the board of the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, leading governance, budgets, fundraising and financial turnarounds.
If you're executing complex projects and your operations, quality or organization need to keep up, let's talk. Engagements start with a conversation about the problem — not a pitch.
And when the same gap shows up across business after business, the most useful thing isn't another engagement — it's the system itself. That's why Numana also builds software.
